The event

Some 20-30 children coming from Shao Nian Gong (a famous local youth organisation) and children of our staff (office and JV water plant) were invited to come with their parents.

On 10 April, the event started with a lunch for the children in the Espace Veolia. Then, children participated in a drawing competition. The five winners had the chance to draw on the giant scroll.

Veolia Environnement activities in China

Veolia Environnement manages significant long-term contracts across China, in cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong.

In Shanghai, Veolia Water manages a 50-year full water services contract for the business district of Pudong, including water treatment, distribution and customer services. While Onyx operates the Puxi Waste-to-Energy Facility on behalf of the government, the company has also recently been awarded the design, construction, operation and transfer contract for the Laogang MSW Landfill Phase 4.
Dalkia is responsible for the lighting-up of Shanghai's famous Pearl Oriental Radio and TV Tower.
