Sustainable consumption

A very large number of products that we buy in Europe and the United States are manufactured in developing countries, often because labour is a lot cheaper there.

However, in certain countries, workers are not always properly protected by law.

Fair trade associations now select, label and sell products which have been manufactured while respecting the rights of children and adults as well as the environment.

Everyone can thus be a responsible consumer by choosing products according to their origin and the way they have been produced, products which support a humane approach to economics.
